Millstone Stitch Rib

My own variation of Overlapping Waves used in my Ledges Shell top. Note that in the first row of the repeat the increase and decrease happen in the same stitch.

  • Row 1 (WS): Purl.
  • Row 2: K1, p1, *M1R, ssk, k5, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, k1.
  • Row 3: P2, *p6, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p2.
  • Row 4: K1, p1, *M1R, p1, ssk, k4, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, k1.
  • Row 5: P2, *p5, k1, p1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p2.
  • Row 6: K1, p1, *M1R, k1, p1, ssk, k3, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, k1.
