Raised Stockinette
Another variation of the stockinette stitch, created with slip stitches on the wrong side rows. The raised stockinette creates a soft fabric with a ribbing effect and is great for accessories or homeware projects
Note: Slip the stitch purlwise!
Shown with a cast-on count of 7 stitches.
- Row 1 (RS): K1, knit to last st, k1.
- Row 2: P1, *p1, sl1 wyif, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, p1.
