Nottingham Lace two ways

The upper section of the stitch map (rows 101 to 112) shows the original pattern. The lower section is the pattern modified using the bunny ears back decrease.

The bunny ears section is symmetrical and generally sharper looking, with straight lines. The original pattern is asymmetrical with more curving lines. Take your pick.

  • Rows 1 and 21 (RS): K2, *k1, bunny ears back dec, k2, repeat from * to last st, k1 (multiple of 5 sts, plus 3).
  • Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110, and 112: Purl.
  • Rows 3 and 23: K2, *k2, yo, k3, repeat from * to last st, k1 (multiple of 6 sts, plus 3).
  • Rows 5, 25, and 105: K2, *k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k1, repeat from * to last st, k1.
  • Rows 7 and 27: K1, k2tog, *k3, bunny ears back dec, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k3, ssk, k1 (multiple of 5 sts, plus 7).
  • Rows 9 and 29: K1, yo, k1, *k4, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k4, yo, k1 (multiple of 6 sts, plus 9).
  • Rows 11 and 31: K2, yo, ssk, k1, *k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k1, repeat from * to last 4 sts, k2tog, yo, k2.
  • Row 32: Knit.
  • Rows 101 and 107: Knit.
  • Row 103: K2, *k1, k2tog, yo, k3, repeat from * to last st, k1.
  • Row 109: K1, yo, ssk, *k3, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k3, k2tog, yo, k1.
