Slip stitch combo

This began as 2 simple 2-row patterns, with the variation on WS. The combination seems more interesting visually (and to work) than either pattern by itself.

Shown with a cast-on count of 15 stitches.   Getting chart...

  • Rows 2, 4, 6, and 8: *K1, sl1 wyif, k1, p3, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k1, sl1 wyif, k1.
  • Rows 10, 12, 14, and 16: *P1, sl1 wyib, p1, k3, repeat from * to last 3 sts, p1, sl1 wyib, p1.
