Branches, in one-color brioche

In Knitting Fresh Brioche* by Nancy Marchant, the original Branches pattern is for two-color brioche. This version is for one-color brioche (though seasoned brioche knitters could no doubt follow this stitch map for two-color brioche).

  • Rows 1, 5, 7, 9, 13, 15, and 17 (RS): *BrSl, k1, repeat from *.
  • Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 14, and 16: *BrSl, k1, repeat from *.
  • Row 3: BrSl, k1, brSl, *(k1, yo, k1) in next st, brSl, k1, brSl, repeat from * to last st, k1 (multiple of 6 sts, plus 4).
  • Row 10: BrSl, *k3tog, brSl, k1, brSl, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k1, brSl, k1 (multiple of 4 sts, plus 4).
  • Row 11: [BrSl, k1] twice, *brSl, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, brSl, k1, repeat from * (multiple of 6 sts, plus 4).
  • Row 18: [BrSl, k1] twice, *brSl, sl1-k2tog-psso, brSl, k1, repeat from * (multiple of 4 sts, plus 4).
