pattern has two nice sides. You need to work quite loose to perform the gathers. And you should avoid my mistake: chose you yarn wisely!

My swatch was knit with a splitty inelastic linen yarn. I love the yarn but I was very happy I only planned to knit a tiny little cloth (type: clean my espresso machine...) with only 25 stitches.

Alles gut.
