Diagonal Madeira Lace Variation
This is a variation on the 4 sts +8 stitch pattern used in the Creative Knitting Lace Sampler Poncho.
Shown with a cast-on count of 14 stitches.
- Row 1 (RS): K1, *yo, sl1-k2tog-psso, yo, k1, repeat from * to last st, k1.
- Rows 2, 4, 6, and 8: Purl.
- Row 3: K1, *k1, yo, sl1-k2tog-psso, yo, repeat from * to last st, k1.
- Row 5: K2tog, *yo, k1, yo, sl1-k2tog-psso, repeat from * to last 4 sts, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k1.
- Row 7: K1, k2tog, *yo, k1, yo, sl1-k2tog-psso, repeat from * to last 3 sts, yo, k1, yo, ssk.
