This is a very old stitch pattern (published 1843). I compared the original version of an old pattern to a newer publication from 1983 and tried to find out about the wording. I am collecting my results in a WIKI: strickzeug.wikidot.com. With that list, I am trying to decipher some less known patterns like this one. With the wonderful stitch maps technology, it wound be able to catalog those patterns. A swatch photo would be nice, and I encourage everybody to provide one.
A sock pattern that uses this stitch pattern: Zauberhaft Zart | Fantastically Soft

Hinweis: Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher mit meiner Übersetzung von "alten" deutschen Strickbegriffen in moderne Stricksprache. Dieses Muster ist nicht testgestrickt. Und ich habe vermeintliche Fehler in der ursprünglichen Anleitung behoben:
- Runde 8: hatte hinten k1 tbl (ersetzt durch k2 tbl)
Es handelt sich um ein sehr altes Muster (veröffentlicht 1843). Ich habe die Originalversion eines alten Musters mit einer neueren Veröffentlichung von 1983 verglichen und versucht, den Wortlaut herauszufinden. Ich sammle meine Ergebnisse in einem WIKI: strickzeug.wikidot.com. Mit dieser Liste versuche ich, einige weniger bekannte Muster wie dieses zu entschlüsseln. Mit der wunderbaren Stitch Maps Technologie kann man diese Muster katalogisieren. Ein Musterfoto wäre schön und ich ermutige jeden, eines zur Verfügung zu stellen.
